The second one is a midas gold?

Certainly a Midas, model unknown.
In posh news, the Mk3 Zodiac is an automatic making it even rarer.

Yes but what about that sweet corolla in the first pic?

Where?
(peers closely)
Yes, if you like Corollas...

I don’t, but the 206cc would have been too easy to spot.

There’s an odd thing about the DKW van (in fact there are several but one in particular)
If you open the bonnet you see that the headlights are not where they seem.

Reminds me of the newer Mini when the bonnet is up.

Note the interesting location of the fuel tank in relation to a frontal impact and its proximity to hot bits.

Nah, it’ll be fine. Think of it as a deterrent if you are a serial tailgater. Easy way to improve your manners on the road.

Surprisingly the owner says it’ll do a comfortable 60 mph so you could actually get a spot of tailgating in.

I’m not sure how comfortable I’d feel at 60 with the risk of fiery death. I guess doesn’t have seat belts, so I’d be thrown clear at least.

I saw one of the one in the middle today.

This happens to be my favorite detail about these. There’s a really nice restored one wearing quite bright colors in Finland. It’s actually branded as Donau instead of DKW.
